Reviews are very important to sustain any key initiative. Here are 5 Important points to consider while doing a project review.
1. Consistency - Fix a weekly or biweekly schedule for the reviews. Specific day and time will work
2. Time Period - Keep the reviews short (15 to 20 mins).
3. Focus on the Updates / Decision Making and Not on the Analysis. Do not investigate and do root cause analysis during the review.
4. Appreciation for the members - Appreciate the members and their efforts.
5. Top Management's Presence is essential. Members understand the importance of the project if the top management is present during the reviews.
